Our Highland cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished on our native prairie pastures. They are raised without antibiotics or other medications or supplements. Highlands mature slowly and produce a wonderfully tender and flavorful meat. We have been slowly growing our herd since 2009, and have about 20 cattle at present. Several years ago, we added a Pineywoods bull to our herd to infuse novel genetics to the herd,. We got some wonderful calves with fun coloring and beautiful composition. We recently acquired a young, blondish Highland bull with diverse genetics (to our herd), and will be excited to see those calves in a year or two.
