We brought in over 300 small bales of hay last weekend. We like the small bales for feeding the sheep in the winter. They can be rolled out in the pasture, giving the sheep room to graze and also spreading fertility throughout the pasture. The weather has been a challenge for making hay so far this year. Very hot, mixed with rain every couple of days. We're only a quarter of the way through cutting, so it's looking like we might be making hay well into July.
