Welcome to Prairie Turnip Farm! We are a diversified food-farm and soap company located in the rolling hills of Osage County, Kansas. We raise Highland cattle, landrace sheep, honey bees and a colorful and entertaining mix of chickens and ducks on 122 beautiful acres of native grass prairie, and make all-natural, organic soaps in small batches in our farmhouse kitchen. All of our animals are free-range, and our cattle and sheep are 100% grass-fed. We are committed to no-chemical, no-antibiotic animal production and no-spray vegetable production, and believe that great food should be affordably accessible yet priced to minimize waste during production and in the hands of the consumer. We feel fortunate to get to experience life in the country alongside farm animals, wildlife, native and cultivated plants, and so much space and beauty, and are happy to be able to share it part of it with others through our products.
